Kansas Property Managers Read A Note On An Empty House, Then Face A Heartbreaking Scene
When employees from Point Guard Management arrived at one of their recently vacated properties in Wichita, Kansas, they immediately noticed something unusual taped to the front door.
It was a handwritten note, not from the former tenants, but from concerned neighbors.
The message carried shocking news: the family that had just moved out hadn’t taken everything with them. They had left behind a cat and her newborn kittens to fend for themselves.
The discovery raised urgent questions and set off a race to make sure the vulnerable little family got the help they desperately needed.

Patricia Mitnaul, the company’s social media manager, immediately began searching the property, hoping the little family was still close by.
Before long, a tiny cat appeared, walking straight up to her as if she’d been waiting for someone to finally notice.
This sweet mama hadn’t given up on humans. She rubbed against Patricia’s legs, purred, and weaved between her feet like she’d just found her new best friend.

Patricia offered the cat some food and water, and it was clear immediately how much she trusted her.
Friendly, affectionate, and craving attention, the little mama quickly won Patricia over. She named her Sissy.
But Sissy’s kittens were missing. Patricia combed the yard, porch, and even under furniture, but couldn’t find them anywhere.

A short while later, someone noticed tiny movements near a small opening at the base of the house, little paws peeking out from the crawl space.
Patricia reached out to a local rescue team, and together they sprang into action.
They managed to catch one of the kittens in the garage, but the others slipped back under the house.

That’s when Kirsten, one of Patricia’s coworkers, stepped up and volunteered to crawl under the building to rescue the kittens. It was dark, dusty, and tight, but she didn’t back down.
After a long, tense wait, the team managed to coax the kittens out one by one using food. When the last little furball was safely in their arms, everyone breathed a huge sigh of relief.
The family was rushed straight to the vet, and it turned out they had arrived just in time.

Sissy and her kittens were battling a serious roundworm infection, and without help, their chances of survival were slim.
Luckily, the treatment worked, and the little family began to recover. Now, they’re safe, cozy, and on the path to brighter days at the rescue.
Sissy is back to good health, and her kittens are growing stronger every day, nearly reaching the two-pound mark. The smallest one is still catching up, but with all the love and care they’re receiving, there’s no doubt they’ll all thrive.

In a heartwarming turn, Kirsten, the brave coworker who crawled into that dusty crawl space to rescue them, plans to adopt one of the kittens herself.
The remaining kittens will soon be searching for loving homes, ready to bring happiness to their new families.
It’s incredible how a simple note on a door sparked such a beautiful rescue, isn’t it?
