Philadelphia Contractor Follows Cries In Abandoned House To A Terrifying Discovery In The Wall

That’s exactly what happened in Philadelphia, when a contractor entered into an abandoned house and discovered sixteen cats in need of help.
What started out as an ordinary Sunday on the job quickly turned into a rescue mission unlike anything the contractor had ever experienced.
As he worked, the contractor began to notice faint cries, at first assuming they came from cats wandering outside. But as the sounds grew stronger, it became obvious that one was stuck inside the wall.
After alerting the homeowners, they decided to open up the wall and were stunned by what they found.
Instead of a single trapped cat, there were nine adult cats and seven tiny kittens huddled together inside.
How the cats and kittens ended up inside the wall remains a mystery, but what truly mattered was that the contractor discovered them in time.
It took him a full eight hours of effort, but he successfully brought every single one of them out to safety.
After rescuing 16 cats, the contractor reached out to The Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia, who responded right away.
Many of the cats and kittens pulled from the wall were in very poor condition, making the contractor’s actions all the more vital.
Sadly, one tiny kitten didn’t survive despite everyone’s best efforts.
The others were brought to a shelter, where they could finally receive proper care and the comfort of a safe place to rest.
The rescue team remains optimistic about the future of these cats, working patiently to help them adjust to human contact and learn that they are safe.
Their ultimate goal is to see each one placed in a warm, loving forever home where they will never have to struggle again.
