A Quiet Observer At The Park
At the local dog park, Samson was almost always sitting by himself.
While the other dogs raced across the grass, wrestled with each other, or ran up to greet every new face, Samson usually found a quiet corner where he could simply watch.
He wasn’t nervous around other dogs, and he wasn’t shy with people either. He just never seemed to know how to join in.

Cleo slowed down, started dragging her feet, and finally stopped altogether. Then came the little meows that told her family she wasn’t interested in walking another step.
A Very Special Ride
At first, the family figured one of the humans would have to carry the tired feline. Then they looked at Samson, almost as a joke.
They wondered if Cleo would be willing to sit on his broad back. Gently, they lifted her up and placed her there.
She held on to his fur with her tiny claws. Samson stood perfectly still until his little friend found her balance.
Once she was comfortable, the group started walking again. To their absolute surprise, Cleo seemed to love her new mode of transportation.
