Texas Woman Had No Plans For A Cat Until A Box Of Rescued Kittens Arrived At Her Work
Sometimes the best things in life are completely unplanned. When a box of rescued kittens arrived at her workplace, one woman’s life changed forever.
An Unexpected Delivery
For one woman, a normal day at work was about to take a completely unexpected turn.
She had never owned a feline companion before. In fact, she had absolutely no intentions of ever getting a cat.
But fate had a different plan in store. A nurse she worked with shared some surprising news about a heartbreaking discovery.
Her friend had stumbled upon a box filled with tiny, helpless kittens. Wanting to help them find safe homes, the nurse brought the rescued babies into the workplace.
Love At First Sight
Curious, the woman went to look at the tiny rescues. As she peered into the box, one specific kitten caught her eye.
The little feline, who would later be named MJ, peered up at her with a sweet, hopeful expression.

Meeting The Pomeranian
MJ’s social circle quickly expanded beyond his human family. He soon had to meet his new furry siblings, starting with Bacca.
Bacca is the family’s resident Pomeranian. Introducing a tiny kitten to a dog can sometimes be tricky, but these two surprised everyone.
Rather than being scared or aloof, the two animals gravitated toward one another and created quite the bond.
Now, they snuggle together and sleep right next to each other most nights of the week.
Winning Over The Lab
Bacca wasn’t the only furry sibling MJ had to win over. The family also had a large Labrador Retriever.
At first, the Lab was incredibly puzzled by the tiny feline exploring the house. The large dog looked at the kitten as if to say, “What is this?”
But that initial confusion didn’t last long. Despite their massive size difference, the dog and the kitten shared an instant connection.
Meant To Be
Today, MJ is thriving in the home he was never supposed to be in. He has completely transformed from the helpless baby found in a box.
His family cheers him on as he learns new things, encouraging his playful antics with happy shouts of, “You got this!”
For his mom, watching him play, snuggle, and grow has been a pure joy. Looking back at that fateful day at work, she knows her unexpected best friend was certainly meant to be.
