A Frightened Arrival
Beany, affectionately known to her family as Beans or Bella, is a cat with a massive, vocal personality. But she wasn’t always the confident, demanding feline she is today.
When she first arrived at her new home, she was just a quiet, timid little baby who needed time to feel safe.
“When we brought her home, she was a scared little baby,” her owner recalls. She was incredibly quiet and nervous, unsure of her new surroundings and the people in it.

Of all the things that bring out Beany’s vocal side, nothing compares to her absolute obsession with cheese.
“She goes absolutely wild for cheese,” her owner laughs. “The first time we were shocked. We almost didn’t believe it.”
Her determination for a cheesy snack knows no bounds. She has even been known to literally hang from the kitchen drawer, screaming until she gets a taste.
To earn her treats, Beany has learned an impressive array of tricks. She will sit, “give me five,” and even “say please” on command.

Sometimes, right at 4:30 in the morning, she will start screaming for someone to play with her.

“We try not to leave her because she feels abandoned,” her owner explains, making sure the “screamy, wild cat” always feels secure.
