An Unexpected Morning Greeting
About a year ago, the morning started like any other at the local junkyard. The manager walked out the back door with a cup of coffee in his hand, expecting another long day of engines and scrap metal.

Half the time, he has his paws stuck inside the printer trying to help. The other half, he is following customers outside to inspect their cars like he manages the whole yard.
Winning Over The Customers
The crazy thing is how much the people love him. Some customers come in asking about Buster before they even ask about car parts.
Others sit in the office much longer than necessary just because the friendly cat jumped into their lap. He has a way of making everyone feel welcome.
There have even been times when someone yelled across the yard that the cat was inside their truck again. The man always jokes that he isn’t Buster’s boss—Buster is his.
A Special Weekend Arrangement
Somewhere along the way, this little junkyard cat became incredibly important to the man. The yard was fine for Buster during the week, offering freedom and attention.
But the man hated the idea of leaving his little buddy behind all the time. Since he couldn’t keep him full-time at the house, he came up with a special routine.

The second they arrive, his eyes get huge and wild. He starts sprinting through the yard, galloping, sliding, and bouncing off furniture like he’s been set free into another universe.
Sometimes, the man will walk outside and find Buster sitting halfway up a tree, staring down like he pays the mortgage. He loves playing with the house cats, turning the whole place into pure chaos.
Finding His Perfect Purpose
What surprised the man most is what happens every Sunday night. By the end of the weekend, Buster is always ready to go back to work.
For a long time, the man felt guilty, wondering if he was doing the wrong thing by bringing him back to the junkyard. He worried the cat deserved a normal life inside a house.
But over time, he realized Buster already has the life he wants. He loves being the center of attention, riding in trucks, and acting like the business depends on him.
