Cat Missing Her Favorite Human Can’t Stop Staring At His Photo

Sharing is caring!

Just like humans, each cat is different. Some are more independent, and some can’t spend a minute without their favorite humans.

Take this adorable feline for example. She can’t stand being apart from her owner. But, missing him deeply, the lovesick cat found a perfect way to heal her heart.

The sweet black cat named Yuuki can’t stop missing her favorite human, however, she didn’t always have one.

Initially, Yuuki was a lonely shelter cat with one wish only – to find a loving home. Fortunately, her dream came true when she fell in love with a 19-year-old man named Max.

When the two met at the Cleveland Animal Protective League, it was simply love at first sight.

At that time, Max was about to join the U.S. Navy, so he decided to adopt Yuuki to make his absence easier for his mother, Erin Nimrichter.

However, Yuuki didn’t seem to care about Erin at all. She only loved Max, and he loved her back. Erin shared in an interview:

“Max has always felt connections to any animals he was around. He’s a sweetheart.”

From the moment Yuuki arrived at her new home, she didn’t leave Max’s side. They did everything together, until the day came for him to ship out.

With Max serving his country out of state and unable to visit often, Yuuki struggled to accept his absence.

But, one day, Erin noticed the most unusual thing. She saw Yuuki sitting in front of a framed photo of Max.

Yuuki couldn’t stop missing her favorite human, so she found a perfect way to keep his memory alive in her heart. It seemed that looking at his photo brought her comfort and peace. Erin shared in disbelief:

“She just sits there, stares and meows and then lays down next to the picture to nap. I know for sure she misses him.”

Erin just couldn’t believe what their cat came up with. So, she decided to test whether Yuuki was truly looking at Max’s photograph or if she was attracted by something else.

And the result didn’t disappoint. Every time Erin moved Max’s photo, Yuuki would find it and continue staring at it.

It’s heartwarming to know you’re so loved by a cat. But, what’s even more beautiful is that Max and Yuuki will soon reunite.

Max’s family is planning a visit, and they’ve decided to bring Yuuki along. Erin added:

“My son worries that she won’t remember him. It gives me comfort knowing she does, and it’s nice to have proof to show him.”

Yuuki’s love for Max is truly something special, and I believe it’s a relationship many cat parents dream of.
