A stray mama cat, later named Tala, made an unexpected visit to a man’s house by sneaking in through his doggy door. Vincent, the homeowner, noticed her inside but didn’t think much of it because as soon as she saw him she bolted through the door.
He thought the cat made a mistake coming in through the doggy door and it probably won’t do it again.
Little did he know, Tala had a plan…
A short while later, Tala returned, and this time she wasn’t alone! She brought a tiny kitten with her!
Vincent, who has a soft spot for animals, especially those in need, quickly set up a cozy bed with a box and some warm blankets for the little family.
He thought that was it, but more surprises were on the way! Tala left again, which worried Vincent, but she soon returned with another kitten.
Jacqueline, the founder of Friends for Life Rescue Network, shared on Facebook:
“Over the course of the next few hours, she would bring a kitten one by one and lay them in the box until all five were in there.”
Tala clearly sensed Vincent’s home was the perfect place to shelter her babies.
Vincent made sure Tala had food and water, while her five kittens: Moana, Maui, Neilani, Ohana, and Kiko snuggled up in their new bed.
After reaching out for help on Facebook, Jacqueline stepped in and offered to take the little family into their care. Soon, foster parents Kaitlyn and Sam welcomed all six of them into their home.
Tala was a loving, nurturing mama, always taking care of her kittens and showing them affection. She adored her human friends too, especially when they gave her chin scratches, which were her absolute favorite.
As weeks passed, the five kittens grew bigger and stronger, and soon each one was adopted into a loving home.
Not long after, the rescue shared even more great news! Tala had found her forever home too!
