LA Woman Walks By Someone Carrying Cardboard Boxes, Then Notices A Tiny Nose Sticking Out

That day, Suzette Hall thought she was on a simple mission. She was tracking one stray pup near a Los Angeles shelter and planned to scoop him up, nothing more.

Running Logan’s Legacy 29 keeps Suzette on her toes. She’s always moving from one case to another, making sure abandoned and unwanted dogs have a second chance.

But that afternoon, fate decided to drop something surprising in her way.

After catching the stray, Suzette headed toward the shelter to check in with the staff. But before she even reached the door, something unusual caught her eye.

Standing just outside was a person holding two bulky cardboard boxes. They looked taped up, worn down, and oddly punctured with small holes.

Suzette’s instincts kicked in: this didn’t look like a donation. Then, from one of the holes, the tiniest white nose pushed through.

In that moment, her suspicions were confirmed. The boxes weren’t filled with supplies or junk. They were filled with puppies! Tiny, fluffy, bewildered little souls peeking out with round, anxious eyes.

Whoever carried them didn’t want to keep them anymore. Their plan was to leave them behind at the shelter.

The heartbreaking part was that the shelter was already stretched to the limit and couldn’t accept more animals.

But sometimes luck works in mysterious ways. Suzette had arrived at the exact right moment. Instead of those pups being left behind, she offered to take them herself.

The person agreed and handed them straight over. Later, Suzette shared in a Facebook post:

“It was honestly a little miracle that I was there because they had taken them to the wrong shelter and I was able to get them just to surrender them to me.”

The pups were brother and sister, both soft, fluffy, and unsure of what was happening around them. Suzette drove them straight to the vet, where they got checkups, care, and cuddles they had never known before.

She gave them names: Eve and Forrest.

Within a few days, the pair were cozy in foster homes, finally starting to learn what it feels like to be safe.

Now Eve and Forrest spend their days exploring green yards, curling up for naps in soft beds, and soaking in belly rubs from people who adore them.

Their fosters are completely in love, and it’s easy to see why. These two are bursting with sweetness and personality.

Suzette still gets updates and photos of the pups, watching them blossom into the happy, playful dogs they were always meant to be. They haven’t found their forever families yet, but until then, they’re surrounded by nothing but love.

And Suzette? She’s already back on the road, ready to answer the next call for help.
