Ohio Woman Adopts A Sick Kitten Who Survives Against The Odds And Becomes An Internet Star
Taylor had no idea what she was signing up for when she finally decided to bring home her very first kitten.
For months, she had gone back and forth, unsure if she was ready for the responsibility. But the moment she met a tiny orange fluffball named Pita, all her doubts disappeared.

From the very beginning, Pita showed she wasn’t your average, aloof kitty. This little one was glued to Taylor like Velcro.
Her favorite thing was climbing up and wrapping herself around Taylor’s neck like a living, purring scarf.
She’d wiggle, twist, curl, and purr so loudly that Taylor often laughed out loud at her kitten’s antics.
It was as if Pita was declaring her territory, making it clear that she wanted nothing more than to be as close to her new mom as possible.

One day, Taylor decided to share a video of Pita’s “acrobatics,” not expecting much. But the internet thought otherwise.
The video showed Pita happily weaving around Taylor’s neck, nuzzling her face, and refusing to be anywhere else but pressed right up against her mom.

Before settling into Taylor’s lap or chest, Pita performs what Taylor calls her “figure-eight routine.”

Pita wasn’t always the thriving little mischief-maker she is today. She and her siblings were found under a trailer in terrible condition.
Pita, the weakest of the bunch, was battling Feline Panleukopenia, a dangerous and often fatal virus.
Her chances of survival were slim, but with proper care and treatment, she pulled through.
Against all odds, this tiny fighter survived and blossomed into the affectionate, playful kitten the world has now fallen in love with.

At around 11 weeks old, Pita is now thriving. She’s playful, endlessly curious, and a bit mischievous, especially when it comes to pestering Taylor’s dog, Loaf. Taylor shared:
“She is so curious and loves to pick on my dog Loaf… She’s constantly trying to cuddle, has the loudest purr I’ve ever heard, and is always making biscuits.”
Her silly “acrobatics” have become part of daily life, a routine that Taylor finds completely adorable.
