Texas Driver Thinks She Sees Trash On Roadside, But Ends Up Saving A Desperate Little Life

But then, later that day, came a breakthrough. Lucky took food straight from Tessa’s hand. It was such a small moment, but it meant everything.
Word of Lucky’s rescue spread quickly, and a kind groomer offered to give her a proper bath and haircut. After that, Lucky seemed to relax and realize that she was safe.

The fear was slowly fading away, as Tessa shared:
“It’s clear that earning her trust will take time, but I’m confident she will eventually understand that she is safe with us and that we would never hurt her.”
It didn’t take long for Tessa to realize that Lucky had already found her forever home. There was no way Tessa could let her go.

“They don’t have the words to ask for assistance or the understanding of where to go for safety.”
