A Bizarre Arrival
When a tiny stray kitten arrived at the rescue, it was immediately clear that something was terribly wrong.
She didn’t look the way a normal kitten is supposed to look.
Instead of being small and fragile, the little feline was completely puffed up.

Healing In Foster Care
Once the veterinary team had removed as much air as possible and stabilized her condition, Zoe was ready for the next step.
She was placed into a loving foster home where she could finally relax and feel safe.
In foster care, she has the time and space she needs to finish developing properly.
Her main job now is simply to grow old enough and heavy enough to eventually undergo her spay surgery.
Surrounded by comfort, the little kitten began to show her true personality.
A Spirited Little Fighter
Today, Zoe is doing incredibly well and is happily eating like a pig to make up for lost time.
Her rescuers describe her as a very sweet little monkey who loves to purr and play.
