Aggie Cooper and her partner Donald are an amazing duo from Chandler, Texas. Their love for animals encouraged them to open up a nonprofit animal rescue called Unleash the Paws.
With their focus mainly on stray and abandoned dogs, the two had no idea a tiny cat was about to completely change their lives.
The couple was on a trip through Ohio when all of a sudden they noticed something furry lying next to the highway.
Cars were speeding and it seemed like no one cared enough to stop and check what was going on. Donald instantly stopped his car on the side and rushed to the furry helpless thing.
It was a kitten, just a couple of weeks old. He had never seen a kitten so tiny, and it was a miracle the little one was still alive. Next to him, something heartbreaking awaited Donald and Aggie.
The kitten’s mom didn’t make it and Donald believed the tiny feline family was hit by a car.
The couple knew that they had to rush the kitten to the vet and make sure he had no severe injuries.
The tiny fellow fell asleep the moment he found himself in Aggie’s arms! They named him Miles and drove off to the closest vet office.
Luckily, Miles was completely healthy and didn’t suffer any serious injuries from the hit. Since they still had a long way ahead of them until they reached Texas, little Miles spent the first few days with his new family in a camper van.
He showed them just how big of a cuddle bug he was and Aggie couldn’t wait for Miles to meet the rest of their furry family.
Once they came home, all of their rescue dogs immediately welcomed little Miles! He finally had a place to call his own, all thanks to Donald and Aggie.
They were the only people who cared enough to stop and rescue this helpless little fluffball!
I’m so grateful Miles got a second chance at life and he gets to spend it with the most loving humans ever!
