White Cat Found In Filthy Apartment Surprises Rescuers With Her Unique Trait

Recently, rescuers from Little Wanderers NYC received an urgent call about dozens of cats living in a small apartment under horrific conditions.

Without hesitation, they embarked on a rescue mission. Among the cats, one stood out – a snowy-white feline with captivating blue eyes who turned out to be truly special.

The rescuers collected all the cats and brought them to safety, including the blue-eyed white cat.

She looked exhausted and seemed to be at the end of her strength. However, after a thorough cleaning and receiving necessary treatments, the spark in her eyes quickly returned.

The cat, later named Cloud 9, gradually began to relax and reveal her true personality. She was incredibly friendly, eagerly accepting pets and enjoying head scratches and all the attention she received.

After a thorough examination, she was spayed and placed in a foster home, where she immediately felt at ease. 

Despite months of living in terrible conditions with many other cats, Cloud 9 quickly adapted to her new, comfortable surroundings.

She was thrilled with all the toys, furniture, and most of all, the fact that she no longer had to fight for her food.

Cloud 9 took some time to fully explore her new surroundings, but that was when her foster mother discovered something unusual about her. 

It turned out Cloud 9 was deaf, however, that didn’t stop her from living her life the best way possible.

She loved following her humans around the house, seeking attention, and when she wasn’t doing that, she enjoyed gazing out the window.

The rescuers were initially concerned that her deafness might make it harder for her to find a forever home. They shared in an interview:

“Like many all-white animals, her hearing is impaired, but despite that, she is adventurous, loves to play, and will explore every corner of the house. She will do best as the only kitty in a home (without kids) as sudden movements startle her.”

Although Cloud 9 is deaf, she is a stunning cat with a lovely personality. Hopefully, someone will see her true beauty and offer her the loving forever home she truly deserves.
