A woman was driving home on a freezing night when she spotted something unusual – a lone dog curled up on the roadside. At first glance, the dog looked like any stray trying to survive the night, shivering in the bitter cold.
But something about this scene made the woman pull over and take a closer look. As she approached, she realized this dog wasn’t just huddling for warmth. No, there was more to it.
This thin and trembling pup had curled herself around five orphaned kittens, snuggling them close to keep them warm. They were tucked tightly against her, nestled in the warmth of her body as the icy wind whipped around them.
