Dog Surrendered To High-Euthanasia Shelter In Oklahoma Breaks Hearts With A Single Glance

But now, she had no one. The people her owner surrendered to her had no choice but to bring her to the shelter, as Kayla shared in an interview:
“She wasn’t surrendered by her actual owner. Her owner abandoned her months ago at someone else’s home, and when they could no longer care for her, they had no choice but to turn her in to animal welfare services.”
Left in a place where too many dogs and too few homes meant heartbreaking decisions had to be made, her future was uncertain.
Seeing her curled up on the floor, confused and quiet, was enough to break anyone’s heart. Kayla decided to share that moment online, hoping to bring attention to her story.
