People Hear Faint Cries From A Dumpster In California, Then Find 3 Tiny Treasures Inside

One day in San Dimas, California, something truly heartbreaking happened behind a row of businesses. It started with a soft sound of tiny cries, almost too faint to hear.

But for three little puppies, those cries were their last hope.

These German shepherd sisters had been thrown away like garbage. Literally. Left in a dumpster, of all places.

The pups were covered in grime, weak from hunger, and buzzing with fleas and ticks.

They huddled together, confused, scared, and too young to understand what they’d done to deserve it. They were only about three months old, still babies, still figuring out the world.

And here they were, dumped like yesterday’s leftovers.

Their rescue came by pure luck. A bakery worker had stepped outside for a quick break.

That’s when he heard the whimpering. It pulled at his chest, and he followed it straight to a nearby business complex. There, hidden in a pile of trash, he spotted one little pup.

She wasn’t about to let her sisters be forgotten. She started to nip at his leg as if she saying, “Please… they’re still in there.”

The man didn’t waste a second. One by one, he pulled the sisters out of the dumpster, cradling their filthy, skinny bodies. They were barely hanging on.

He immediately reached out to a local Facebook group for lost and found pets, hoping someone out there would care enough to step in.

And someone did.

Carolyn Castro, a dedicated animal lover and admin of the group, saw the post. The moment she read what had happened, her heart sank.

She couldn’t stop thinking about those tiny pups left to fend for themselves in such a cruel way, sharing in an interview:

“I don’t think there is anything that can justify or give a reason as to why they were dumped in the trash.”

Castro brought the pups straight to Village Mutt, a local grooming spot and rescue haven known to work magic on neglected dogs.

There, the pups finally got the care they desperately needed. They were bathed, scrubbed clean, and freed from fleas and ticks.

And so, the road to recovery officially began for these sweet sisters. For the first time in who knows how long, they felt safe, loved, and wanted.

Now that their bellies are full and they’ve had a fresh start, these girls are on to the next part of their journey: searching for their forever homes.

April Bank, the big-hearted owner of Village Mutt, offers help to anyone willing to adopt one of them, sharing:

“I’m offering three months of food for them and then six months of baths. We have a self-dog wash here. So, they’ll be clean for at least six months.”

Meanwhile, Castro hasn’t stopped searching for answers. She’s determined to find out who tossed these pups away, sharing:

“Putting them in the trash, it’s an evil person, and I hope there’s video footage. I hope somebody knows something where it can be brought to light, so these dogs get justice.”

Now, the pups have soft blankets and bellies that aren’t empty anymore. And best of all, they have each other. Three little sisters who were once thrown away, now have a second chance.
