Two-Week-Old Kitten Found All Alone Outside Indianapolis Stadium, Desperate For Help

It all started in the most unlikely of places: outside a busy sports stadium in Indianapolis.

In the middle of the noise and rush, a two-week-old kitten was discovered all alone with no mama cat or littermates anywhere in sight.

No one knew how long she had been out there or how she ended up in that parking lot, but it was obvious she needed help right away.

At such a young age, a kitten can’t survive without care. She needed warmth, milk, and someone to fight for her.

Thankfully, kind people who spotted her refused to leave her fate to chance. They scooped her up and rushed her to IndyHumane.

That’s where she was given a name: Colt, and where her fight for life truly began.

One of the volunteers, Belinda, instantly stepped forward. She knew Colt couldn’t stay at the shelter because a kitten that tiny needs around-the-clock bottle feeding and careful supervision.

So Belinda brought her home, determined to give her the care she so desperately needed.

The very first night, Belinda realized just how hungry the little one was. Colt latched onto the bottle as if she had been waiting for it her whole life.

Within only 24 hours, the difference was already clear. Her frail little body began filling out, her purrs grew louder, and her spirit started to shine through.

Soon, little Cold became Belinda’s shadow, as she shared in an interview:

“This little girl is so special. She goes to work with me and is adored by everyone who gets a chance to meet her.”

When Colt wasn’t drinking her milk, she was curled up in a soft nest, tucked in beside her favorite plush toy. But soon, her curiosity began to grow.

After just a week of care, she transformed from a fragile newborn into a little explorer.

Belinda often let her run around the room, and it was clear Colt loved every minute of it, as Belina shared:

“Since she is single, I have allowed her to run around the living room when supervised. She runs as fast as her little legs will take her, spins around, and arches her back.”

Her playful side blossomed quickly, but she always circled back to Belinda, seeking comfort in her arms.

Those snuggles became their shared routine, a beautiful bond they were building together.

Day by day, Colt grew stronger. She eventually moved on to solid food, which made everyone at IndyHumane cheer.

She had beaten the odds stacked against her from the very beginning.

Her story didn’t stop there, though. At Belinda’s house, Colt met another resident cat named Mia. To everyone’s delight, Mia immediately accepted the tiny newcomer.

She groomed her, cuddled her, and treated her as if she were her own. For Colt, who had once been so desperately alone, this was the family she had been waiting for.

From that moment on, Colt had not only a loving foster mom but also a feline companion who showed her the ropes of cat life.

Together, they played, napped, and shared the warmth that every young kitten needs to thrive.

Now, Colt is blossoming into a healthy, joyful young cat. She has a future filled with love and security ahead of her, and the memory of that lonely night outside the stadium is far behind her.

Her story could have ended in heartbreak, but thanks to quick action and a foster mom who refused to give up, Colt is living proof of how far love and compassion can go.
