LA Man Spots Stray Cat Sneaking Into His Home, The Next Day, She Brings Something Special
Vincent never expected a surprise visitor to slip into his home that day, but somehow, a stray cat found her way in through the doggy door like she belonged there.
He only caught a quick glimpse of her before she darted back outside. Just a random moment, he thought. Nothing to worry about.
But what Vincent didn’t realize was that this cat hadn’t shown up by chance. She had a plan… and this was only the beginning.
Not long after, the cat came back through the doggy door, but this time she had a surprise: she was carrying a tiny kitten with her.
Vincent, who has always had a tender heart for animals in need, wasted no time making them comfortable.
He found a box, lined it with soft blankets, and created a warm little nest for the mother and her baby.
Vincent figured the little family was complete, but he was in for another surprise. After settling her first kitten, the mama cat slipped back out, leaving him a bit concerned.
Before long, though, she returned once more, this time carrying another tiny kitten in her mouth.
Jacqueline, the founder of Friends for Life Rescue Network, shared on Facebook:
“Over the course of the next few hours, she would bring a kitten one by one and lay them in the box until all five were in there.”
It was clear that this kitty had chosen Vincent’s home as the safe haven she wanted for her little ones.
Vincent named her Tala and provided her with fresh food and water, while her five kittens – Moana, Maui, Neilani, Ohana, and Kiko – curled up together in the cozy bed he had prepared for them.
After Vincent shared the situation on Facebook, a woman named Jacqueline responded and offered to help.
Thanks to her, the little family was placed with foster carers Kaitlyn and Sam, who happily opened their home to Tala and her five kittens.
Tala proved to be a gentle and devoted mother, constantly doting on her kittens and keeping them close.
She quickly warmed up to her human companions as well, especially enjoying chin scratches, which she absolutely loved.
Over the following weeks, her little ones thrived, growing healthier and stronger by the day, until the time came for each kitten to be adopted into a home of their own.
Not long after, the rescue shared even more great news! Tala had found her forever home too!
