When Kayla decided to bring home a new family member, she had no idea how much chaos a single pound of fluff could cause. The adorable addition was a tiny kitten named Boots, full of energy, mischief, and charm.
What she didn’t expect was that Boots would completely throw her big German shepherd, Butter, for a loop.
Most people would assume an 85-pound German shepherd would take charge immediately, confident and protective. But in this case, the roles were hilariously reversed.

When Boots lets out a tiny meow, the big shepherd flinches, then hides her face under her owner’s arm, as if hoping the kitten would magically disappear.

Kayla shared the moment online with a caption that simply read, “She’s absolutely terrified.” The clip quickly gained attention, and viewers couldn’t get enough of Butter’s dramatic response.
