When a foster mom welcomed a heavily pregnant dog into her home, she thought a litter of five would be manageable. Then the contractions just kept coming.
A Leap Into The Unknown
When a woman decided to foster an enormously pregnant dog named Pebbles, she didn’t quite know what she was signing up for. She had never taken in an expectant mother before, but there was just something special about the sweet, heavy-bellied dog.
Calling her a "big, chunky monkey girl," the foster mom immediately felt a deep connection to the gentle stray. She knew right away that she had to do whatever she could to help the dog safely bring her babies into the world.
