This Black Cat Took Over Oklahoma City Liquor Shop And Stole Everyone’s Hearts
Some people might joke about wanting to live in a liquor store, but for one very lucky cat, that dream actually came true.
Meet Betty, a sleek black rescue kitty who went from wandering the streets to running her very own spot in Oklahoma City’s Liquor Barn.
These days, she’s not only a full-time resident but also a beloved “employee,” charming customers and coworkers alike.

Her journey started in the simplest way. Betty used to show up on Amanda’s doorstep, sneaking in every chance she got.
Amanda, who now proudly calls herself Betty’s mom, shared in a YouTube video:
“Every time I opened my door, she was running in. So I told one of the owners about Betty, and he let me bring her up here. And the rest is history.”
And what a history it is.

Now Betty spends her days in that liquor shop, weaving between aisles stacked high with bottles of wine, beer, and spirits, never once knocking a single one over.
It’s like she was made for this job.
Customers adore her, employees spoil her, and the whole store has embraced her as family.
