A Life In The Dark
For a special needs animal, finding the right home can be an incredibly difficult journey.
Obi was born completely blind, a condition that made his early life unpredictable and chaotic.
Without the ability to see the world around him, he relied entirely on the kindness and patience of humans to help him navigate his surroundings.
Sadly, finding a family equipped to handle his unique needs proved to be a monumental challenge.
Bouncing Between Homes
Because of his special needs, Obi struggled to find stability.
He bounced around through more than 20 different foster homes during his search for a forever family.
While his fosters meant well, they couldn’t really take care of him the way that he needed to be cared for.
