Florida Woman Checks Her Dog Camera And The Footage Leaves Her Stunned
Imagine being a dog owner with a super flexible work schedule, where you get to spend every single moment with your furry pal. Sounds like a dream, right?
But what if you’re on the other side of the fence, working long hours and only getting to hang out with your pup after the sun goes down? That is, if your place hasn’t turned into a total disaster by then.
That’s exactly what happened to Daiana Kreiman from Miami, Florida. Back to the grind after working from home, she couldn’t stop thinking about how her Golden Retriever, Pumba, was holding up without her by his side.
What she discovered on Pumba’s first day home alone completely took her by surprise.
Now, Pumba is a well-mannered, fully trained dog with a calm nature. He doesn’t chew on things, doesn’t make messes, and knows all the rules.
But there’s one thing Pumba can’t stand: being alone.
When Daiana and her husband had to leave him for an entire day, she was a little worried about how Pumba would react. So, to keep an eye on her pup, Daiana decided to install a pet cam.
But once the camera went up and Daiana and her husband were out of sight, Pumba did something no one expected.
He waited until the coast was clear, then made his move like a sneaky little genius. He hopped up onto the bed and picked the perfect spot.
Then he let out a big, sleepy yawn, curled up tight… and didn’t move. Not even a wiggle!
Pumba figured that if he was gonna be left home alone, he might as well do it in style. He claimed the bed and slept through it in complete comfort.
Belly up, paws in the air, and not a care in the world.
Daiana, shocked but amused, shared the footage on TikTok, sharing in the caption:
“They left me alone at home… So I did what any responsible adult would do: Took over the bed. Belly up. Zero regrets.”
The video took off fast, and soon the comments were rolling in. People couldn’t stop laughing and started swapping their own hilarious pet stories and jokes, as one person said:

But here’s the thing: this wasn’t just some random one-time nap. Nope, Pumba’s got a whole routine, and it includes being the king of weird, hilarious sleeping positions.
His favorite, of course, is sprawled out on the bed in all his glory. It’s his comfort zone, his happy place, and he owns it.
Daiana and her husband love these funny moments. They don’t mind Pumba taking over the bed. Honestly, it’s kind of become his bed at this point.
What matters most is that their sweet boy is happy, comfortable, and totally chill, even when they’re not around.
But don’t get it twisted. Pumba isn’t just a lazy dog lounging around all day. Far from it!
When he’s not napping, he’s living his best life. He spends plenty of time with his dad in the yard, practicing tricks, and getting those fun cuddles on the weekends.
And when the sun’s out, Pumba is ready for an adventure, especially if it involves the beach. The sand, the waves, the freedom, nothing makes him happier.
So, while Pumba might have his “lazy” moments, he’s a pup full of energy and enthusiasm and he’s always ready for the next big thing. After all, nap hard, play harder, right?
