Soaked And Ice Cold, This Furbaby Shivered For Hours, Praying Someone Will Find Her

Some moments just stop you in your tracks, and for Selina Dey, that moment came on a cold, gloomy day. The rain had been falling for hours, leaving everything soggy and gray.

But in that dreary mess, something tugged at Selina’s heart. She spotted a tiny, shivering pup curled up beside some stone steps, trying so hard to stay warm.

The poor thing looked so fragile, like she’d been forgotten by the world.

Without a second thought, Selina scooped up the little one. The puppy was so cold that it made Selina’s heart ache.

Her tiny body shook with chills, and her wet fur clung to her like a soaked blanket. Selina shared in a YouTube video:

“I’ve never touched a puppy that cold… Her whole body was just shivering, soaking wet. She was ice cold.”

Selina knew this was serious. This baby needed help, fast. So, she raced straight to the vet, holding the puppy close the whole way.

The first thing the vet team did was pile on blankets and gently rub warmth back into that tiny body. It was all hands on deck to bring her back from the edge.

The vet later told Selina that if she’d arrived just a couple of hours later, it might’ve been too late.

As the little pup, now named Zeina, slowly started to feel safe and cozy, Selina’s mind couldn’t rest. She kept wondering if there were more puppies out there.

So she headed back to the spot where she had found Zeina. The locals pointed her out, saying that the mama dog was out there as well.

And sure enough, Selina spotted her. She watched from a distance like she’d been waiting for someone kind to notice her.

The locals reassured her that this was the mama and that she’d only had the one puppy.

Selina gently approached and, with the help of locals, managed to bring the mama, now named Pamela, to safety.

When Pamela and Zeina saw each other again, their faces lit up in a way only a mother and her pup can. It was the sweetest reunion.

Selina opened her home to both mom and daughter and gave them a safe place to heal and grow stronger. Day by day, she watched them settle in and find their footing.

And oh, did they bloom!

Zeina, once a cold and fragile little thing, started showing her true colors. She became playful, curious, and full of life.

Before long, she turned into a spunky, playful rascal who loved to cause a bit of harmless trouble, as Selina shared:

“Zeina is a little rascal. She’s a little troublemaker. She’s still tiny! She’s so tiny. She completely transformed.”

Pamela, the sweetest and most patient mama, kept a watchful eye on her little whirlwind.

Now, these two are ready to search for a forever home where they can stay together and keep spreading joy.

After everything they’ve been through, they deserve a place where they’ll be safe, loved, and cherished every single day.
