Rescued Kitten Fearlessly Fosters Dogs Of All Sizes In Her New Home

Sharing is caring!

Who says cats only hang out with other cats? Well, some cats have a more open-hearted approach to friendship, just like this sweet kitten named Lavender.

Lavender is now one happy feline with lovely friends of all shapes and sizes, but she wasn’t always so lucky. She was found all alone, living her final moments, until a guardian angel came to her rescue.

Haley Waugh, a devoted animal lover working at Front Street Shelter in Sacramento, California, had recently lost two of her special-needs pets. While grieving, an orphaned furry soul unexpectedly entered her life.

The moment Haley held Lavender in her arms, her sorrow began to vanish. Haley instantly knew Lavender was a perfect match and saw the solution for both of them.

Lavender was found all alone in someone’s backyard, with no mother or siblings in sight.

She was so young and tiny that it was a miracle she even survived. However, Lavender proved to be a brave kitten with a strong will to live. Haley shared in an interview:

“I knew I was taking her home to foster.”

Even though Haley didn’t plan to adopt more pets, she couldn’t say no to Lavender. After only a few days in her new home, Lavender completely blossomed.

She grew in size and confidence, bringing endless joy to her new human and becoming an official member of Haley’s family.

Lavender was a lovely and friendly feline since day one. However, everything changed when she met foster puppies under Haley’s car.

Once Lavender discovered tiny foster puppies, she refused to leave them alone. She was excited to be around them, treating them as her newfound companions.

That was just the beginning of Lavender’s love for dogs and puppies. She loved hanging out with other cats, but puppies and adult dogs were a better company if you ask her.

One of Lavender’s best friends was a tiny puppy named Cricket. Their bond truly stood out, both sharing spirited personalities and a love for adventure.

However, Cricket wasn’t her only canine buddy. Lavender was fearless and loved bonding with dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Slowly but surely, Lavender became a true dog fosterer, providing love and comfort to every dog that entered Haley’s home.

Even more interesting is that almost every foster dog was drawn to Lavender’s vibrant spirit. It was as though she was a dog in a past life.

Whatever the case was, it’s truly heartwarming when cats and dogs get along, showcasing they’re not real-life enemies after all.

Once a rescued orphaned kitten, Lavender now helps and fosters dogs, proving that friendship and love come in all shapes and sizes.
