From the very start, Justin was curious about everything. When his owner, Sarah, introduced him to speech buttons as a tiny kitten, he didn’t just play around; he got it.
In no time, he was pressing buttons to ask for things, tell her what he wanted, and even “talk” back during conversations. It’s not just impressive, it’s like watching a little furry mind unfold before your eyes.

Justin caught on to his first words incredibly fast, and unsurprisingly, they were the ones he loved most.
Since he adored going for walks, the word ‘outside’ was the first he learned, followed closely by ‘bird’.

Sarah decided to move from her small Los Angeles apartment to a bigger house with a backyard where she could build a catio for her furry companions.
The cats loved all the extra space, sunbathing in the backyard, and watching birds all day long.
However, a few weeks after the move, Justin started acting strangely. He began pressing combinations of buttons that didn’t make sense at all!
One night, he slowly approached the speech buttons and pressed two words that left Sarah terrified. First came ‘stranger’, then ‘smell’.
He stared intently at the living room window, as if he saw someone standing there. Sarah rushed to look outside – and no one was there.
Understandably, she was absolutely terrified. Could her cat actually be sensing ghosts? Over the following weeks, the behavior got even more intense.

Every time Sarah checked, though, the house appeared empty.
Nearly two months into living in their new home, Sarah finally figured out what was going on.
Having grown up in an apartment, Justin wasn’t used to seeing wildlife. Now, with a huge backyard, he was spotting raccoons, squirrels, and even ferrets.
When Sarah realized it was just wildlife and not something supernatural, she breathed a huge sigh of relief. Honestly, I’d rather have raccoons than ghosts, too!
