Two Alabama Guys Go Fishing But Their Trip Turns Into A Surprising Mission
When these two guys went fishing on Alabama’s Black Warrior River, they had no clue what they’d end up catching. Brandon Key and Jason Frost set out for what was supposed to be a normal day on the water, expecting to reel in some fish and enjoy the quiet scenery of the river.
The gentle current, the rustling trees along the banks, and the warm sun overhead all made for a peaceful fishing trip. Little did they know, their plans were about to take an unexpected turn.
They cast their lines, chatting and laughing as they watched the water, unaware that the day would soon include something far more unusual than any fish—a small, stranded cat would soon become the unexpected catch of the day.
The ordinary fishing outing quickly transformed into a rescue mission, leaving the two men stunned and scrambling to respond to a situation they never anticipated.

It turns out they rescued two kittens who were swimming towards their boat in search of safety.
“So, we’re out here on the Warrior River, and y’all are not gonna believe what is swimming towards our boat. A kitten.”
The video of their surprising rescue went viral, showing the kittens approaching them and the astonishment of the fishermen.

It was a kitten, indeed, and a second one followed soon after him.
“They’re twins! Are you kidding me?”
Despite being scared and wet, the kittens proved to be excellent swimmers. Also, they seem very grateful to their rescuers.

“Some jackass probably put them out there.”
Frost believes the kittens were abandoned by someone, but their determination to survive prevailed. These determined kittens did not give up! No river could have stopped them.
Yep, this puts a whole new spin on the popular term “catfishing”.

After reaching dry land, Key and Frost realized the two ginger kittens they had rescued were safe and unharmed. They carefully brought the tiny furballs to a nearby home where a kind and loving family was waiting.
The moment the kittens were placed in the family’s arms, it was clear a bond had been formed. The family instantly fell in love with the playful, bright-eyed kittens and wasted no time deciding to give them a permanent home.
Smiles and laughter filled the room as the kittens explored their new surroundings, purring contentedly and showing signs of comfort and trust.
