No matter how much his owners, Basmah and Aia, try to style it with devil horns or pigtails, Calzy always goes back to his unique hairstyle.
However, Calzy is not just an adorable furry friend; he has a remarkable story filled with strength and affection.
After being saved from the tough life on the streets, he was nothing but skin and bones, always looking for water to drink.
Despite being so weak, he still craved the warmth of human companionship. When Aia and Basmah saw him, it was love at first sight, and they knew they had to bring him into their home.
The best guess is that he might be a Persian cat, but no one really knows for sure. After getting him home, Aia and Basmah were brainstorming names, and maybe they were a bit hungry at the time, which is how he got the name Calzy, short for Calzone.
Calzy may face some health issues like breathing problems and kidney troubles, but his spirit is super strong. Still, he needs a special diet and water bowls all around to make sure he stays hydrated.
However, he’s lucky, because his owners have really learned a lot about taking care of cats, making sure their fluffy buddy has everything he needs to be happy and healthy. And he definitely is!
Everyone loves him because he’s such a friendly cat! When his humans are feeling sad, Calzy becomes their personal therapist.
