Imagine a mighty Rottweiler, strong and tough, acting like a scaredy-cat around a tiny puppy! Sounds wild, right?
But that’s exactly what happened to Dozer, a Rottweiler who lived happily with his sister Lilah and was always the confident guardian of their home in Claremore, Oklahoma.
That was until their mom, Kimberly Ward, decided to welcome Daisy into their life.
The tiny French Bulldog really shook things up with the Rottweilers, and Dozer, in particular, wasn’t happy about it.

She was so tiny she could barely reach his legs, but her energy and excitement scared Dozer, making him run away!
At first, he didn’t know how to handle this energetic new puppy. She was so full of life, darting around him and trying to get him to play.
The more she chased him, the more he ran for cover. The couch became his safe spot, a place where little Daisy couldn’t reach him. His mom shared in an interview:
“She was so tiny and outgoing and charismatic … She wanted to play with him all the time, but he didn’t know that he could be a puppy.”

But the little Frenchie wasn’t one to give up easily. She would bark, nip at his feet, and hop around until Dozer, tired of running, finally gave in.
And when he did, something amazing happened: he realized that playing with Daisy could be fun!
That was the turning point. The bond between them started to grow stronger, and Dozer discovered a side of himself he never knew existed – his playful side. Kimberly shared:
“The first time that he ran with her and figured out that she would chase him, it was on. “He figured out that he could be interactive with her.”

Despite being much older and bigger than Daisy, he learned to match her energy. They began playing together all the time, running around the yard, hiding under the bed, and even chasing each other in circles around the couch.
Dozer, the big, tough Rottweiler, was gentle and careful with his little sister, understanding that she needed extra care, as Kimberly shared:
“He knew that he was supposed to be gentle with her and that she was tiny.”
Daisy had found the key to unlocking a hidden puppy inside him, and she was the best thing that could’ve happened to him.

But the adventure didn’t stop there. The family grew again when a second Frenchie, Mocha, joined the crew.
From the first day, Daisy and Mocha hit it off, wrestling and running for hours, as Kimberly shared:
“I bet they play and wrestle and run and chase each other two or three hours a day. It’s incredible.”

Meanwhile, Dozer, though still slower than the two Frenchies, continued to be the gentle, playful older sibling. He was patient with them, always watching over them like a big brother should.
When Daisy and Mocha wrestled and ran circles around him, he joined in the fun in his own way, keeping up as best as he could.
He even let little Mo win at tug-of-war sometimes, pretending to struggle just to make her happy. It was clear how much Dozer adored his tiny sisters.

It’s incredible how a funny game of chase turned into a beautiful friendship that no one saw coming.
Dozer, Lilah, Daisy, and Mocha became the perfect gang, each bringing something special to their little family.
Their home was never quiet, but it was always happy. And who knows? Maybe one day, another tiny paw will join in on the fun.
After all, in this family, there’s always room for more love!
