Texas Woman Sees A Dog Wandering Her Neighborhood, Then Realizes He’s Been Abandoned And Hurt
Danielle Huset, a 25-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, was walking around her neighborhood when she noticed something that made her heart stop.
A big dog was limping down the street, his coat matted from the rain. He was clearly hurt and hungry, as Danielle shared in an interview:
“He was scared but curious. I could tell he was looking for help because he was so malnourished, hurt, and wet from the rain.”

But as the night went on, Danielle’s main concern was Buddy’s safety. She couldn’t just let him wander in the dark. She gave him food and water and kept the garage door open in case he wanted to come inside for shelter.
But Buddy seemed content curled up on the grass. He let Danielle sit beside him and soon warmed up to cuddles and pets.
