Florida Man Frozen With Shock After Discovering A Strange Creature Stuck In His Chicken Coop
A routine check of a chicken coop in Florida turned into something totally unexpected when the owner saw a wild animal trapped inside, in desperate need of help.
It all began when the owner noticed a strange-looking animal lurking among his chickens. At first, he wasn’t sure what it was because it looked so worn down.

The bobcat was extremely thin, her ribs clearly visible beneath her dull, mangy fur. Mange had ravaged her coat and left it patchy and rough, with barely any of the vibrant spots that normally mark her species.
She looked so exhausted and frail that even catching a single chicken had been beyond her.
It was clear she had been through a rough ordeal for quite some time, which had taken a heavy toll on her health.
Together, the rescuers and the property owner devised a plan to free the trapped cat. They loosened the coop’s boards and approached her from underneath with great caution.
Their careful work paid off. The bobcat was safely freed without harm to anyone. Once in the hands of WILD Florida Rescue, the team ran tests to check her health.
Despite everything she had been through, the results showed her condition was not beyond repair. With the right care, treatment, and patience, she had a real shot at recovery.

“Lab work came back and shows there is nothing that is non-reversible which is great news. She is not out of the woods yet but is being gently treated and cared for. She has got some fight and spirit in her and that’s what’s keeping her going so far…”
Now, under the careful watch of WILD Florida Rescue, the bobcat is slowly gaining strength. She is receiving the treatment she needs to regain weight and heal her mange.
The team is dedicated to helping her feel like herself again, and every day she improves a little more. Soon, they hope she will be strong enough to return to the wild, where she truly belongs.
