Texas Woman Walks Into Her Yard And Finds Something Truly Heartbreaking Inside A Plastic Bin

Marty McAdams was enjoying the weekend with his golden retriever, Cammie, who was stretched out in their yard in Houston, Texas.

Everything was calm until Marty’s phone rang. On the other end, his neighbor’s voice was panicked. There was a puppy in her yard, and she needed help right away.

Marty, who had rescued dogs before, knew this feeling all too well, that mix of fear and relief when an animal realizes it’s finally safe.

That night, Pebbles refused to leave his side. She whimpered whenever he tried to put her down, so Marty spent hours holding her on the couch, sharing:

“I probably sat on the couch and held her for four hours, off and on. She just didn’t want to be left alone. She just cried and cried.”

Eventually, Cammie, Marty’s golden girl, decided to share her dog bed with the tiny newcomer. It was the sweetest sight: Pebbles curled up against Cammie’s warm fur, finally at peace.
