Meet Cotton, a six-year-old feline who had endured a life of hardship as a stray, battling not only starvation but the torment of mange as well. 

His face was marred by scabs from relentless mite infestations, rendering him unable to even open his eyes.

Carmen, also the founder of Animal Friends Project in Florida, recognized the fear and pain in Cotton and made it her mission to alleviate his suffering. 

Her foremost goal was to rid him of the debilitating mange, but she was equally committed to restoring Cotton’s overall health and nourishment. While the mange had left him distressed and agitated, antibiotics began to work their magic.

Carmen went a step further by incorporating soothing creams to combat the mange and alleviate Cotton’s pain. 

Gradually, thanks to the combined efforts of antibiotics, creams, and Carmen’s unwavering care, Cotton’s condition began to visibly improve.
