Cat Found Outside A Texas Complex With A Strange Note, But The Real Surprise Was Under A Towel

Drawing on her experience as a volunteer at Coastal Bend Cat Rescue, she helped the mama cat deliver her final kitten and quickly moved all of them into the safety of her office.

With her mom by her side, Kayla reached out to Coastal Bend Cat Rescue. Their team sprang into action, taking the tiny family under their care without delay.

Soon, the mama cat and her kittens were settled into a loving foster home, where they could rest, grow, and thrive under careful supervision. The rescue shared in a Facebook post:

“We don’t know why humans did this to her. It was cruel and unfair and we are at a loss for words… But we are focusing on the positive because she is safe now and she will never have to endure a traumatic experience like this again.”

Mama cat was named BonBon, and her kittens were: Reeses, Hershey, Dove, and Butterfinger.

Updates from the rescue’s Facebook page showed the little family thriving in their foster home. The kittens were growing fast, their tiny, fragile bodies transforming into strong, playful little furballs under the careful watch of their devoted mama.

BonBon expressed her gratitude in the sweetest ways, with soft purrs, kneading, and those calm, trusting eyes. Watching the bond between her and her kittens grow made caring for this sweet family an absolute joy, as the rescue shared:
