Cat Miraculously Survives A Hit-And-Run Accident And Gets Rescued In The Nick Of Time

Sharing is caring!

Did you know that, according to The National Traffic Safety Administration, a staggering 5.4 million cats are hit by cars each year in America?

Even more heart-wrenching is the fact that a staggering 97% of these feline friends don’t make it after such accidents.

In this somber statistic, we bring you the story of a resilient cat who defied the odds. Luckily, she wasn’t among these 97%, however, she was severely injured in a hit-and-run accident, and her story broke many people’s hearts.

Accidents happen all the time; whether it’s our fault or a cat’s momentary lapse in caution, our response to these situations is crucial.

This courageous feline, who was named Isabelle Mira, was lucky to survive a hit-and-run accident, but not lucky enough to receive immediate help from the driver.

Fortunately, Isabelle was rescued in a nick of time by AWF Cats First. They shared the touching video of Isabelle on TikTok, breaking hearts across the internet.

Isabelle’s survival was nothing short of a miracle, but her injuries were extensive, requiring leg surgery.

In the video, you can witness a starved, underweight black and white cat lying in her kennel, meowing at her rescuers with an angry look on her face.

The poor cat was understandably terrified, possibly in considerable pain, with no strength or will to eat.

AWF Cats First explained it all in the video’s caption, saying:

“Could you be this fierce if you were hit by a car, had your legs broken, and only weighed 800 grams? She’s right to be angry at people. We called her Isabelle Mira (for Miracle) as one of you beautiful people suggested. Let’s help this hit-and-run victim baby, she deserves a better life and a forever home.”

Isabelle’s video swiftly captured the hearts of TikTok viewers, amassing over 208,000 views and 67,000 likes.

What’s even more heartwarming is that this viral sensation transformed into a lifeline for Isabelle. Touched by her plight, compassionate users poured in donations to ensure she received the necessary surgery.

I hope from the bottom of my heart that Isabelle continued to recover and improve, and that she found a purrfect family who helped her restore faith in humanity!
