That cat is Moxy, a 4-year-old tuxedo with show-off energy and a serious love for being admired. Now living at Lollypop Farm, an animal rescue in Fairport, New York, Moxy has turned into a little celebrity among staff and visitors.
When he first arrived at the rescue, no one suspected he was anything more than a charming troublemaker with good looks. His special talent was still a surprise, waiting for the right moment to make its debut.
The Lollypop Farm team explained:
“Moxy was brought to Lollypop Farm because he can get overstimulated easily, which sometimes causes him to play a little rough. Before he was surrendered, he spent most of his time chilling out by himself and bird watching. He loved to sneak some snuggles in here and there.”
Since settling into his own kitty condo at the shelter, Moxy has captured the hearts of everyone who passes by.
With a personality that’s equal parts witty and affectionate, he’s constantly seeking attention, making it nearly impossible to walk past without being greeted by his meows.
His favorite spot? The glass window. Moxy loves to watch the world outside and will meow enthusiastically whenever someone approaches. The staff noted:
“When he decides he loves you, he really loves you. He likes to sit on laps and get sweet cheek rubs, explore (once he’s comfortable), chomp on cat grass, and stick his cute, little tongue out.”
Moxy’s charm doesn’t stop at his personality, he’s a true performer.
Whenever someone catches his eye, he bursts into a full-on dance, waving his paws up and down while swaying his body from side to side. The harder he wants your attention, the more dramatic his moves become.
He even responds instantly when someone calls his name, running over with his fluffy tail held high.

“A nice window to watch the birdies from and a cat tree would make this little gentleman happy as a clam. We are looking for a ‘cat-savvy’ owner (who will understand his cattitude) to welcome him into their home.”
