Kailyn Abell and her fiancé had just come back from a week-long vacation and were picking up their cat from the pet sitter.
As they were getting ready to leave, they heard some weird noises coming from their car. At first, they thought it might be a small animal, but they couldn’t figure out where it was hiding.
Then, to their surprise, a tiny kitten peeked out from under the bumper. The little kitten looked scared and confused, but she seemed determined to stay out of sight.

Kailyn and her fiancé tried everything to get her to come out, but she wouldn’t move an inch.
Eventually, they were able to coax her out by using a carrier with their own cat inside. They named the kitten Louise, and although she was healthy, she was obviously frightened. As they shared in an interview:
“She was very scared at first but very gentle. We had tried picking her up out of the car from the hood, but she wouldn’t fit and we didn’t want to hurt her. We put her back down to get a better angle on her. She then found her way out and ran away under a different car.”

After that, they immediately took her to the vet for a checkup and gave her a bath to get rid of any fleas.
Even though her fiancé was a bit hesitant at first, Kailyn instantly fell in love with Louise. She was the sweetest and most affectionate cat Kailyn had ever met.
Luckily, Louise quickly adapted to her new home and became best friends with Kailyn’s other cat. Her unexpected arrival filled Kailyn and her fiancé’s lives with happiness. As they mentioned:
“We wouldn’t have kept her if she hadn’t been so sweet. She is the nicest cat that I have ever met. She is snuggly, loving and overall just a very cheerful cat. The first night we had her she fell asleep on my chest, and I completely fell in love.”
At last, they felt so lucky to have found her and to have given her a loving home. I mean, who wouldn’t, right?
