Crooked-Face Cat With A Long List Of Health Issues Finds Happiness Next To LA Foster Mom

I have to admit, Pinocchio the cat is pure charm from whiskers to tail. This sweet boy isn’t only striking to look at, he’s also a total people-cat who loves fun and attention.
Even with the many health hurdles he’s had to face, Pinocchio has proven himself to be a true fighter, never letting anything hold him back from enjoying life.
With his own resilience, and the unwavering dedication of his foster family and rescue team, he’s thriving in the happiest way possible.
So, let’s dive into the heartwarming journey of this extraordinary cat. It all began when Jacqueline Santiago from Friends for Life Rescue Network first saw a photo of him.
At first, she couldn’t pinpoint exactly what seemed unusual, but she had a feeling something was off.
It wasn’t until she met the sweet kitten face to face that the difference became unmistakable.
From A Malnourished, Sad Cat To The Sweetest Crooked Snout

When Pinocchio first arrived at the rescue center, Jacqueline said he was malnourished, dehydrated, and infested with fleas.
At only three months old, he was no bigger than a kitten half his age. But his small size was just the beginning of his struggles.

Pinocchio faced a long list of medical challenges, including a large hernia that needed surgery, a crossbite affecting his canines, a crooked nose, and even the possibility of hydrocephalus.
Yet, through it all, his spirit never wavered. Pinocchio was focused on sharing love wherever he went.
Jacqueline described him as endlessly cheerful, with a heart big enough for everyone – humans, cats, and even dogs.
A New Chapter In Pinocchio’s Life

When it became clear just how much medical care Pinocchio would need, he was placed with foster mum Mel Lamprey.
She carefully listed all the conditions this resilient little cat was already dealing with, and those he may continue to face as he grows, such as: eye and dental issues, deviated septum, gastrointestinal issues, heart murmur, chronic upper respiratory infections and similar…

For such a tiny kitten, it’s an overwhelming list of challenges, yet Pinocchio never lets it stop him.
Each day he proves his strength, growing braver and more determined. Mel often marvels at his resilience, saying he still carries that “I’m great, I can do anything” outlook no matter what comes his way.
And it’s absolutely true – his fighting spirit is matched only by his playful cat-titude, which shines just as brightly.

Pinocchio also happens to be quite the clown. His crooked little face gives him a constant half-smile, almost as if he’s secretly judging everyone around him.
Of course, that’s just part of his one-of-a-kind look, and it certainly doesn’t stop him from flashing his enchanting grin at anyone who crosses his path.
And speaking of enchanting, just one glance at Pinocchio is enough – you’ll see the very face that has been winning hearts ever since his very first photo appeared online.

He’s just impossibly adorable! This little fellow truly needed a special family to care for him, and he couldn’t have found anyone better than Mel, who devotes her time to helping animals with special needs.
Despite all the health battles he has faced, Pinocchio is thriving. He’s living his best life, making new friends wherever he goes, and winning hearts everywhere – including mine!
