Nashville Family Finds Two Crying Souls In Their Backyard And Drops Everything To Help

It’s hard to imagine the fear and loneliness these two tiny kittens must have felt, left all alone in a backyard, their cries echoing for anyone to help.

But luckily, their story has a happy ending, and it’s one that warms the heart.

It all started when a kind family from Nashville, Tennessee, heard faint, desperate meows coming from their backyard.

Before long, they discovered two pure white kittens, dirty, covered in fleas, and clearly malnourished.

Their small bodies trembled as if they had given up hope, but the family refused to ignore them.

They reached out to Nashville Cat Rescue, a group dedicated to helping homeless cats and kittens. Volunteers there knew the kittens would need intensive care.

Two amazing volunteers, Nathan and Becca, took the kittens in and dedicated themselves to their care.

They named them Adele and Squeak and began a demanding routine of bottle-feeding around the clock, cleaning them up, and showering them with constant love.

The first days were tough. Adele and Squeak were small for their age and lacked the comfort of their mama, as their fosters shared in an interview:

“Both kittens are small for their age and love to comfort-nurse on blankets and our hands – a symptom of not having a mama kitty to nurse as babies. Otherwise, they are in great shape and adore other cats and everyone they meet.”

But despite their fragility, they began to show glimpses of their personalities: curious, playful, and surprisingly resilient.

Nathan and Becca poured all their energy into making sure Adele and Squeak survived. Every feeding, every bath, and every cuddle was a step toward giving them a chance at life.

Slowly but surely, the kittens began to gain strength, their tiny bodies filling out and their spirits brightening with each passing day.

As Adele and Squeak grew stronger, their personalities blossomed. They became inseparable.

They always explored together, tumbling over one another, curling up for naps side by side, and seeking comfort in each other’s presence.

Their playfulness was infectious, and Nathan and Becca couldn’t help but smile as they watched the two tiny kittens thrive in a safe, loving environment.

Eventually, the day came when Adele and Squeak were ready to leave foster care and find their forever home.

It was a bittersweet moment for Nathan and Becca, who had grown attached to them. But they knew it was the right time to let them begin a new chapter in their lives.

Fortunately, Adele and Squeak found a loving family with several other cats waiting to welcome them.

From the moment they stepped into their new home, it was clear they belonged. Their new family couldn’t resist capturing the chaotic, joyful moment, sharing that the kittens were too excited to sit still for a photo as they explored their new surroundings.

Saying goodbye was hard, but Nathan and Becca knew Adele and Squeak were exactly where they needed to be.

Now, Adele and Squeak are thriving in their forever home, healthy, playful, and full of life.

And it’s all thanks to their fosters, whose dedication shows just how much a little love and effort can change the lives of animals in need.
