Sirius might look like a grumpy alien with a tiny underbite, but this confident little cat knows exactly how to take charge of his household—and heal the people he loves.

Katya always knew there was something uniquely special about her cat, Sirius. With his tiny underbite and perpetually grumpy expression, he didn’t look like an ordinary feline.

In fact, Katya often joked that he looked more like a little alien trapped inside a cat’s body.

But beneath that funny, demanding exterior was a creature with a massive personality. Katya calls him a "cat with a million face expressions."

She can sit close to him taking photos, and in just five minutes, she will capture completely different looks. It often feels to her like there is another human—or an alien—living inside of him.

A Curious Kitchen Companion

One of Sirius’s most entertaining traits is his intense curiosity about the world around him. He is at his funniest when he is half-asleep or just waking up, but he is always ready to investigate.

Whenever Katya is cooking, Sirius makes sure he has a front-row seat. He loves to hop up and sit right on the countertop.

As he watches her prepare meals, Katya gets the distinct feeling that he isn’t just watching—he is actively studying how to do things himself.

Sirius is an extremely confident feline who knows exactly what he wants. If he wants something, he makes sure he gets it.

This demanding personality really shines through at mealtime, especially when his favorite treat is on the menu. Sirius absolutely loves raw meat.

When he gets a piece of raw meat, his feline instincts seem to cross over into canine territory. As he eats, he actually growls like a dog to protect his prized meal.

Meeting His Big Brother

Sirius doesn’t rule the house alone. He shares his home with another cat named Meo.

Meo originally belonged to Katya’s friends, who brought him home as a second cat. Unfortunately, Meo didn’t get along with their first cat, so Katya stepped in to foster him.

It didn’t take long for Katya to fall completely in love with the sweet foster cat, and she officially adopted him into her family.

The Tiny Alpha

Even though Meo is almost twice as big as Sirius, there is no confusion about who runs the household. Sirius is clearly the boss.

He is definitely the alpha of the pair. When the two cats have their funny little squabbles, they never actually scratch each other, but Sirius always emerges as the winner.

Sometimes, Sirius decides he wants the exact spot where Meo is sleeping. He doesn’t even have to fight for it.

A Silent Staredown

When Sirius wants a bed that is already occupied by his much larger brother, he uses a very specific tactic.

He simply walks over and stares at Meo. He silently looks at the big cat until Meo finally gives up and hands over the comfortable spot.

It’s a hilarious dynamic that perfectly sums up their relationship. As Katya notes, in their feline couple, Meo is the one who gives love, and Sirius is the one who proudly receives it.

A Sixth Sense For Sadness

Despite his grumpy face and demanding nature, Sirius has an incredibly tender side. He is deeply connected to the humans in his life.

Sirius can definitely sense when Katya is feeling down. Whenever she is sad or stressed, he is always right there beside her to offer quiet support.

But his empathy doesn’t stop with Katya. He recently proved just how intuitive he really is when Katya’s boyfriend went through a medical ordeal.

The Healing Touch

Katya’s boyfriend recently had to undergo surgery on his neck. During his recovery, Sirius took on the role of a tiny nurse.

The cat loves to sit on the boyfriend’s shoulder and neck area. Amazingly, Sirius always chooses to sit exactly on the spot where the surgery took place.

Katya finds it absolutely amazing that her grumpy little alien cat knows exactly where to apply his healing purrs.

Brightening Every Second

Life with Sirius is a constant source of entertainment and affection. He is funny 24/7, keeping his family laughing with his tiny underbite and serious expressions.

From bossing around a cat twice his size to gently nursing his humans back to health, this unique little rescue has proven that looks can be deceiving.

He may look like a grumpy alien, but to Katya, he is pure joy. As she proudly says, he brightens every second of her life.
