Orphaned Kittens Take Over Their New Foster Home, And Everyone Adores Them – Even The Dog!

Orphaned Kittens Take Over Their New Foster Home, And Everyone Adores Them – Even The Dog!

Sharing is caring!

Imagine being a tiny kitten, just two weeks old, feeling all alone and scared. Well, that was the reality for Cheeto and Frito, two ginger tabby brothers, when they first got to Today Tomorrow Forever Animal Rescue

They were lost and vulnerable, just little fluffballs huddling together for comfort. Luckily, one day, a caring volunteer stepped in and decided to help.

This meant she had to feed them with a bottle all day and night, cuddle them for countless hours, and clean their tiny, messy faces over and over again.

But, for these dedicated volunteers, it was all worth it. Watching the kittens grow from fragile little things to chubby, playful bundles of joy made every sleepless night feel like a reward.

When their eyes opened for the first time and their little paws got stronger, Cheeto and Frito became more curious.

They started to explore their cozy nest, almost like they were ready to discover the world (or at least their little foster room).

However, they needed more space and playtime once they finally got stronger. So, they were moved to a new foster home, where they met their new foster mom Asa.

Asa, a big and kind-hearted friend, greeted the kittens with open arms. From that moment on, the foster room turned into their fun zone, and they quickly settled in.

At only four or five weeks old, their playful energy was off the charts – or maybe, off the laps? Their foster mom became their favorite climbing spot, with her shoulders and lap being the best places to explore. As she shared in an interview

“They’re both very affectionate and loving; they come running to greet me any time I go into the foster room and will jump into any lap they find immediately and start purring up a storm.”

These adorable furballs had a special talent for transforming any work time into a snuggle party, often falling asleep on Asa’s lap.

However, playtime was way more than just running around. The big foster room turned into a magical playground for Cheeto and Frito.

They had a blast chasing after feather toys and wrestling with stuffed mice. Their excitement was contagious, making the whole house feel like a fun zone filled with tiny paws and happy meows.

Luckily, they had some help in their fun adventures. Kona, a resident dog, decided to be their personal doggy babysitter.

Kona, sweet as she was, acted like she was part cat! She loved to give them kisses and snuggle with them in their cozy new bed.

And sure enough, Cheeto and Frito couldn’t get enough of their unique babysitter. They purred louder than ever while Kona showered them with love! Asa mentioned:

“They absolutely love to play, and if I’m not in the room, I just hear the sounds of their paws pitter-pattering.”

But, the fun just kept going! Mikan, the resident cat, soon joined in on the action. At first, he was a bit confused by the energetic little ginger kittens that trailed behind him like little shadows, but their constant purring quickly charmed him.

So, Mikan took on the role of their unexpected mentor, teaching them all about being a cat in their new home. However, these little ginger bundles of energy were impossible to slow down!

Cheeto would take on stuffed animals that were way bigger than him, showing off some amazing moves. Even Kona, the family dog, couldn’t help but admire his wrestling skills.

Frito, on the other hand, had a different style when it came to play. He loved to hunt and sneak up on feather toys. As Asa added:

“They are non-stop purr machines. The only time they’re not purring is when they’re running around the room wreaking havoc.”

Still, after a long day of wrestling, running around, and discovering new things, there was nothing better than snuggling up in their foster mom’s lap.

Cheeto and Frito would curl up together, purring happily, and soon they would fall asleep, finally too tired to keep playing.

Now, the big question is – who wouldn’t want to adopt these cute little ginger troublemakers? With their fun-loving spirits and endless affection, I believe Cheeto and Frito are sure to brighten up any home they join. Wouldn’t you agree?
