When a litter of tiny kittens was discovered abandoned outside an apartment building, the situation looked incredibly bleak.

Tragically, out of the entire litter, only one small kitten managed to survive the harsh ordeal.

He was just eight weeks old and in desperate need of a safe place to land.

That’s when a woman named Allison stepped in to give this lone survivor, whom she named Stevie, a second chance at life.

Craving Human Connection

Stevie had lost his entire family before he even had a chance to truly know them.

Being the only survivor of such a heartbreaking abandonment could have made any animal fearful or withdrawn.

But Stevie was different. From the moment Allison brought him home, he proved to be incredibly affectionate.

He craved human interaction and immediately sought comfort in his new mom’s arms.

The Baby Treatment

As Stevie settled into his new home, Allison quickly realized he had some very unique preferences.

He didn’t just want to be petted; he wanted to be held and bounced exactly like a human baby.

To Allison’s surprise, after being bounced, the little kitten would even start burping.

"He loves it. He is obsessed," Allison shared about his unusual, adorable routine.

Stevie’s quirks didn’t stop at his baby-like burping.

He developed a habit of sleeping right by Allison’s side, sharing her pillow and curling up by her neck.

He would purr loudly, give her sweet kisses, and gently nibble on her ear.

Adding to his immense charm was his permanent snaggletooth, which always seemed to be poking out.

A Lonely Heart

Because Stevie was so deeply social, he struggled whenever Allison had to leave the house.

He would get visibly sad without his favorite person around to keep him company.

Allison knew she couldn’t stand seeing her sweet boy feeling lonely during the day.

"I need to get him somebody to keep him company when I’m not there," she decided.

Enter Brother Mac

To help heal Stevie’s loneliness, Allison reached out to the same foster lady who had helped her before.

She ended up adopting another eight-week-old kitten named Mac to join their family.

The two felines hit it off instantly, forming a beautiful, unbreakable bond.

They began cuddling constantly, and at night, both cats would snuggle together in Allison’s bed.

Learning How To Cat

Before Mac arrived, Stevie was a rather quiet cat who rarely made a sound.

But having a little brother taught him a few new tricks.

Stevie soon learned how to meow by copying Mac, developing a soft, high-pitched voice.

It was a cute, tiny meow that completely contrasted with his large, growing body.

The Ultimate Comfort Blanket

Stevie wasn’t just a quirky pet; he became Allison’s emotional anchor during tough times.

When she was going through a difficult breakup, Stevie sensed her pain immediately.

If she was crying, he would literally lick the tears right off her face and cuddle up tightly against her.

"He is like a big liquid blob that just lay on you like an anxiety blanket," Allison explained.

A Healthy, Majestic Prince

As Stevie grew into a large, tall cat with plenty of extra skin, Allison made sure to prioritize his health.

She put him on a special diet program to help him shed some unnecessary weight.

A recent trip to the vet confirmed the good news: Stevie was officially at a healthy, happy weight.

When he sits, his extra skin makes him look like he has no spine, giving him the appearance of a majestic old man.

More Dog Than Cat

Now three years old, Stevie still has the energy of a puppy, often getting "zoomies" and nipping at Allison’s ankles to be picked up.

He often squints thoughtfully, looking like a little prince pondering his past life.

From the abandoned kitten who lost everything to a beloved family member, Stevie’s journey is nothing short of beautiful.

For Allison, coming home to her silly, affectionate boy is the absolute best part of every single day.
