California Man Hears Cries From Trash Can, Then Sees A Scene He Wasn’t Ready For

A man approached a trash can, unaware that a tiny life was hidden just out of sight.

When the lid creaked open, a faint, desperate whimper stopped him cold. Peering closer, his heart broke at what he saw: a newborn puppy, no more than a week old, trapped beneath scraps of trash.
