Clever Shelter Cat In New Jersey Uses A Smart Trick To Win Over Potential Adopters

Life can be tough for some animals, especially those with hearts bigger than the world around them. Louie, an orange tabby, was one of those gentle souls. 

After spending time on the streets, navigating the challenges of stray life, his luck finally changed when he arrived at Clifton Animal Shelter.

As the shelter staff shared, Louie wasn’t built for the harsh realities of the outdoors:

As days turned into weeks and his forever home still hadn’t appeared, Louie decided to take matters into his own paws. He started performing what the shelter described as his “new trick”, a display of affection impossible to ignore:
