When a tiny, three-month-old orange kitten arrived at an animal emergency clinic, his future was uncertain. His previous owners simply couldn’t care for him anymore, leaving him alone and battling a host of medical issues.

Grace, a part-time worker at the clinic, immediately felt her heart pull toward the struggling feline. She had a soft spot for cats, and this little guy was the cutest orange ball she had ever seen.

She decided to take him home, naming him Juice and hoping to give him the love and care he desperately needed. But the road ahead would reveal challenges neither of them expected.

Despite her best efforts, the little cat just kept getting sick. For months, Grace and the veterinary team couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was wrong with him.

A Life-Changing Diagnosis

It wasn’t until Juice was about eight months old that they finally uncovered the truth behind his constant illness.

The medical tests revealed that Juice was suffering from an autoimmune disease. This condition explained the relentless health struggles he had faced since he was a tiny kitten.

Thankfully, with a proper diagnosis, Grace was able to get him on the right treatment plan.

Today, Juice is finally stable and relies on daily medication to keep his symptoms in check.

The autoimmune disease took a permanent toll on Juice’s physical development.

Because of his condition, his body is unable to retain muscle mass. He simply stopped growing, remaining at a delicate four pounds since he was six months old.

Now just over a year old, Juice is about half the size of a regular adult cat.

He will remain a perpetual kitten in size, navigating a world built for much larger felines.

His lack of muscle means Juice faces daily physical limitations that other cats don’t experience.

He doesn’t have the strength to jump up onto furniture, beds, or high surfaces.

Instead, he has learned to adapt by carefully climbing up things using his claws.

Despite his physical challenges, his determination to explore his home never wavers.

A Cartoon Character Come To Life

What Juice lacks in size, he more than makes up for in his unique and adorable appearance.

He is incredibly tiny but remarkably fluffy, giving him the look of a plush toy.

He sports a tail that looks almost too big for his miniature frame.

With his pupils always dilated, Grace jokes that her sweet boy looks exactly like a cartoon character.

The Need For Constant Connection

Juice’s challenging start to life seems to have made him incredibly affectionate.

He is very cuddly and constantly seeks out physical touch from his favorite person.

If Grace is sitting with him, he will actually reach out and grab her hand because he wants his paws held all the time.

He also makes sure his presence is known, constantly meowing and earning himself the nickname of a "screamer."

A Comical Obsession With Food

Grace always tells people that Juice is the sweetest cat in the world—unless there is food around.

His appetite is boundless, and he will try to eat absolutely anything he can get his paws on.

He surprisingly loves greens, happily munching on spinach whenever he gets the chance.

Grace has to feed him small meals throughout the day, otherwise, the tiny cat simply won’t leave her alone.

The Clever Counter Trick

Because of his food obsession, Grace has to keep even non-edible items safely tucked away.

Juice knows the house rules, understanding that he is allowed on the chairs but strictly forbidden from the kitchen counter.

However, the clever feline has developed a hilarious loophole to get what he wants.

He will keep one back paw firmly planted on the chair while stretching his front legs as far as he can to snatch food off the counter.

A Dog In A Cat’s Body

In many ways, Juice’s personality resembles a canine much more than a feline.

He follows Grace around the house everywhere she goes, keeping a watchful eye on her.

When she brings him to work at the clinic, he actively hisses at the other cats.

But the moment he spots a dog, he immediately marches up to them, eager to make a new canine friend.

Cherishing Every Moment Together

Grace admits she is completely obsessed with her special little rescue cat.

She feels an incredibly deep bond with him, even if she playfully wonders if the feeling is always mutual.

Because of his autoimmune disease, Juice does have a lower life expectancy than a typical cat.

However, Grace focuses on the present, overwhelmingly grateful to have this unique, loving boy in her life for as long as possible.
