Sweet Pup Can’t Hide His Excitement When He Sees Dad After His First Day At Florida Daycare
Unlike cats, dogs always get happy and excited when they see us, even if we’ve been gone for just five minutes.
But can you imagine how your dog reacts after a whole day apart? That’s when they get especially excited, particularly if you’re the first familiar face they see. Why do I bring this up?
Well, this sweet and adorable pup named Bauer went to a dog daycare in Florida for the first time in his life.
His humans said goodbye to their beloved pup for the day, worried about how he’d react. Fortunately, their worries were unfounded because Bauer had a great time at daycare.
But the highlight of the day came when Bauer reunited with his human dad…
The Heartwarming Reunion
Bauer’s owner, Corey Moriarty, patiently waited in front of the food to pick up his dog.
Excited to welcome his dog after his first day at daycare, Corey decided to capture the dog’s reaction, unaware the video would quickly go viral!
As soon as Bauer saw his dad standing there and waiting for him, he rushed toward him and gave him the biggest hug ever.
Even though they had only been apart for a day, Bauer truly missed his dad and couldn’t hide it.
He couldn’t stop wagging his tail or licking Corey’s face. He was so excited as if he were saying, “I’m so glad you’re finally here, dad!”
After the heartwarming reunion and once emotions settled down, Corey and Bauer happily headed home.
Then, Corey decided to share this adorable reunion of him and Bauer on his TikTok account called The Moriarty Family. The video’s caption read:
“The way he carries his leash like ‘I’m ready, let’s go home!’ He had literally the best time and was the best boy.”
And, to everyone’s surprise, the video instantly went viral, gaining a lot of attention and positive comments. One person commented:
“I feel like he’s such a dad boy.”

Many people might have assumed Bauer didn’t enjoy his time at daycare and only got excited because he missed his dad. However, that’s not the case!
According to his caretakers, Bauer had a fantastic time and was the center of attention for most of the day. They also mentioned that Bauer made lots of canine friends.
The Newest And Youngest Family Member
Bauer is a Golden Retriever, a friendly dog living the best and most adventurous life with his humans and three canine siblings – two Huskies, Blue and Titan, and one Golden Retriever, Maverick.
In addition to the canine gang, the Moriarty family also has two cats, Storm and Zeus.
Of all the furry members, Bauer is the youngest and newest to the family, but that doesn’t stop him from being the ultimate entertainer.
He truly adds something special to the entire family, and I can’t wait to see their upcoming adventures!
