Imagine the struggle for poor abandoned animals trying to survive in the wild. It’s a tough life out there.
All my furry pals are rescues, and I often ponder how much they remember from their past lives, now that they’re living the good life as my spoiled fur babies.
But not all cats are as lucky as mine. Many spend their days, and even their whole lives, fending for themselves on the streets.
Recently, Dumb Friends League, a non-profit shelter, shared a touching video of a stray kitty who’s spent most of his days outdoors.
Flounder, the former stray cat, is finally safe and cozy indoors. Just look at him experiencing the softness of a chair for the very first time in his life:

It’s Flounder’s first time feeling the warmth of indoor life, and watching him take in the comfort of that chair tugged at my heartstrings.
The moment his fluffy face touched the chair, we witnessed the most heartwarming reaction.
The shelter says Flounder is sweet and affectionate, despite his rough start. At four years old, he’s now in search of a forever home.

Everyone who witnessed this touching moment of Flounder in the chair couldn’t help but share their compassion, and the reactions were truly heartwarming. One of the comments that stood out read:

Mine too. Flounder’s story reminds us to appreciate the simple joys in life, the things we often take for granted. Just look at how these little moments of comfort mean the world to him.
