Missouri Woman Found Tiny Kitten Crying On The Roadside And Woke Up The Next Day As His Mom
Jordan Parker usually shares fun, everyday moments from her life on TikTok, simple clips that feel light and relatable. But one recent video hit people differently.
While out running errands, Jordan heard a faint sound across the road. At first, she almost ignored it. The noise was quiet, barely there, and could’ve been mistaken for nothing at all.
But then she heard it again. Soft, desperate meows coming from the tall grass. Something inside her told her to check.

She hurried toward the sound, and suddenly, a tiny fluffball of a kitten stumbled out from the weeds, crying with every bit of strength he had.
The kitten froze when he saw her, scared and unsure. For a moment, he pulled back, as if expecting danger. Instead, he found safety.
When Jordan got closer, her heart dropped. His right eye was completely shut, and it was clear he wasn’t okay. Without hesitation, she picked him up, knowing she couldn’t just walk away and leave him behind.

After giving him a careful clean, she realized his eye was still healthy, thankfully, just covered in dirt. What the poor thing really needed was food, safety, and someone to care for. Jordan said in her post:
“She was starving and very scared… I looked around the area where I found her and didn’t see anymore kittens but I am heading out there now to check again.”
It broke Jordan’s heart to think this baby had been abandoned or forgotten. Determined to give him a fresh start, she brought the kitten home and named him Pine.

She made sure Pine had full bowls of food, cozy spots to nap, and plenty of love.
The little one also got to meet Jordan’s other pets, slowly learning what it feels like to be part of a family. Jordan shared in one of her updates:
“Pine is doing so well! Starting to eat and drink more, using the litter box and demanding all of our attention.”

As a mom with a busy schedule, Jordan often had to leave the house. She felt bad about leaving Pine behind, so she came up with a creative solution: leash training.
Surprisingly, Pine took to it right away. He loved exploring the outdoors with his new family, always ready for little adventures. And when his tiny legs got tired, Jordan’s lap became his favorite spot for a nap.
Eventually, the day of the vet appointment arrived. Jordan went in expecting routine updates, but she walked out with a surprise that made her laugh.

Little Pine, who everyone thought was a girl, turned out to be a boy!
The news only added to his charm; he was already stealing hearts, and now he had a funny story to go with his rescue.
With each passing day, Pine grew braver. He began climbing furniture, chasing shadows, and exploring every corner of the house.

Looking at him now, it’s hard to believe he was once a frightened kitten crying out from the roadside.
Thanks to Jordan’s quick instincts and kind heart, Pine has a whole lifetime of adventures ahead.
One thing’s for sure: he’ll grow into the fluffiest, happiest cat in Missouri.
