Sometimes, our fluffy friends’ names perfectly match their personalities, just like Squeaky Joe.
Initially called Ruby, this energetic cat has transformed into a one-of-a-kind feline who fills her human family’s life with a chorus of squeaks and happiness.
Taylor and her family welcomed Squeaky Joe into their home in 2022 to keep their cat, Rita, company.
However, Squeaky Joe turned out to be more than just a friend to Rita; she brought laughter and warmth to the whole family.
You see, Squeaky Joe lives up to her name because she doesn’t meow like other cats. Instead, she lets out these high-pitched squeaks that match her lively personality perfectly.
Whether she’s saying good morning to Taylor or asking for attention, she has a squeak for every situation.
Some people might think it’s strange, but Taylor and her family find it endlessly entertaining. They even joke that Squeaky Joe’s squeaks are like their own language, with different squeaks meaning “yes,” “no,” or just a simple “hello.”
But, her uniqueness doesn’t stop at her squeaks though. She’s also obsessed with her shadow, often having squeaking conversations with it.
Plus, she has big, alert eyes that always seem to be on the lookout for something mysterious, sparking theories about her seeing ghosts or aliens (although Taylor thinks it’s just her curious cat nature).
Even though she used to be shy around visitors, Squeaky Joe has become more self-assured as time goes by.
She now watches guests from a cozy spot, showing that this is her territory, a place ruled by cardboard boxes, especially when they’re on the couch just right.
But what makes Squeaky Joe truly lovable is her unique connection with Fernando, who enjoys playing classical piano. She finds his music very calming, often snuggling up in her “cat power” pose while he plays, like a fluffy guardian angel by his side.
